Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Adodo is a marketing and content operations service managed by the IdeaWorks team for approved business users. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to control connected accounts and request deletion. For privacy questions, contact Peter Ericson at peter.ericson@ideaworks.dk.

Data We Process

We process account names and email addresses, workspace memberships and roles, connected account and channel identifiers, authorization tokens, and integration status. We also process files you upload or import, filenames and media metadata, transcripts, captions, translations, publication drafts, approval records, and provider publication receipts. Connected advertising and measurement services may supply campaign records, spend, performance, attribution, revenue, and product analytics. Operational records include request and job status, timestamps, errors, and security logs.

How We Use Data

We use this information to provide the workflows you request: connecting accounts, organizing creative assets, preparing and localizing content, reviewing and executing approved publications, reporting performance, and maintaining service reliability and security. Authorization tokens let background jobs perform the permitted work when your browser is closed. We do not ask for your Google password, sell personal data, or use connected Google account data for our own advertising.

YouTube and Google Drive

Adodo uses YouTube API Services. When you connect YouTube, we read the selected channel's identifier and name to identify the destination, store the connection and authorization, and upload videos and metadata through approved publication workflows. We read the resulting video's identifier, processing and visibility status, and available statistics to check the upload and report its results. The current upload workflow creates private videos; connecting a channel alone does not publish content.

Google Drive is an optional asset source. Its current read-only permission can allow access to files in the connected account. Adodo imports the files you select, reads their names, types and sizes, and copies their contents into Adodo's media storage. It also reads the connected Drive account's identity to label the connection. Imported copies are separate from the original Drive files.

Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of the YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Service Providers and AI Features

Our hosting and storage providers process data to operate Adodo. Hosted application records are stored in PostgreSQL on Hetzner, and media files are stored in Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare also provides network protection and, in protected deployments, account access. Connected platforms receive the content and requests needed to carry out the actions you approve.

When media analysis is enabled, uploaded and imported files can be sent automatically to Google Gemini to produce transcripts, summaries, topics and hooks. Translation features send relevant text to Gemini. Requested transcription or dubbing can send media or text to ElevenLabs. The results are stored with your assets. Adodo attempts to delete temporary Gemini Files uploads after analysis; provider processing and retention are governed by the applicable service terms. We do not train our own general-purpose AI models on connected Google data.

Service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements applicable to your workspace. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service.

Access and Security

Workspace permissions limit access to approved team members and service operators. Connecting an account makes its permitted data available to the workspace workflows and authorized users you enable. Provider refresh tokens are kept on the server; security measures include access controls and transport encryption in hosted environments. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not upload material you lack permission to share with your workspace or the relevant service providers.

Disconnecting and Deleting Data

In Connections, removing a channel from one project removes that project's access to the connection. Disconnecting it for the organization removes Adodo's stored authorization token and attempts to revoke it at Google. You can independently revoke Adodo's Google access at any time in your Google account permissions.

Disconnecting does not itself erase imported media, analysis, drafts or connection history. To request deletion of data held by Adodo, email peter.ericson@ideaworks.dk with the relevant account, workspace and channel or assets. Do not send passwords or tokens. Requests are handled by the service operator, who verifies your authority before removing data. Requests to delete stored YouTube user data are handled as soon as possible and within seven calendar days.

Deleting Adodo's copies does not delete videos on YouTube or original files on Google Drive. Manage those originals in the respective service. Conversely, deleting an original does not automatically remove an imported Adodo copy.

Retention and Your Choices

We retain active workspace assets and operational records for the workflows and reporting they support until they are removed or deletion is requested. Adodo does not currently provide a general automatic expiration period or a self-service deletion tool. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Backup copies follow the deployment's backup lifecycle and are separate from active application records. Contact us to confirm the retention and backup arrangements for your workspace.

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal information, and object to or request limits on processing, subject to applicable law. You can withdraw permission for a connected account through its provider. For data managed on behalf of your employer or client, we may refer the request to your workspace administrator. You may also raise a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies and Policy Updates

Adodo and its access provider use session cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security and workspace preferences. Google account selection and Drive Picker use Google services in your browser. We update this page when practices change and seek additional consent where a new use of connected data requires it.
